2005 Acura TL
The 2005 Acura TL has always been part of a family of sedans that is known well for its midsize luxury sport oriented ride. While not as quick or nible as some of its German siblings, the 2005 Acura TL has none the less been an exceptional sedan with above average reliability and great pricing.
True to most cars made today, the 2005 Acura TL is getting bigger and more powerfull each time it is updated. The 2005 Acura TL is the biggest when compared to previous models, and it has more interior room. The powerfull V6 engine puts out 270 horsepower. Likewise the 3.2 liter motor puts out an impressive 238 ft lbs of torque thru the front wheels, enabling the 2005 Acura TL to run zero to sixty in just over 6.5 seconds, all while getting a combined 21 miles per gallon. Shifting the gears is either a 6 speed manual transmission or a 5 speed auto. If that is not quite enought horsepower, the Acura TL is also available in Type-S trim. The Acura TL Type-S gets a boost in horsepower via the 3.5 liter V6 motor that makes 286 horsepower. Combined with a sport tuned suspension and Brembo performance brakes, as well as styling updates, the Acura TL type S does stand out. Unfortunately for fans of the 2005 Acura TL, the Type S didn’t hit market until the 07 model year.
